I never should have gone shopping!

The thing about Ex husbands…… is I prefer not to have one! He chooses to let the communication occur through our son. And our son, being in his prime teenage years, prefers that mom and dad don’t talk. They might get to parenting then. As long as they fight, the son can get away with what he wants to. Like forgetting to tell his mom he is not coming for the weekend, and not telling his dad that mom is expecting them to be at the turn out, at noon, for the exchange.

So, all the groceries I got for a hungry six-foot five teenager, will not get eaten as fast as it should. And the extra milk will need to be frozen. The clean up I did in the living room with all my writing spread everywhere, could have stayed right there, in my organized bliss, on the coffee table. And the worry about the blown up pillow in the washing machine could have gone…..well, for a few more hours at least.

Now, I have a frustrated teenager that hung up on me…..cause he didn’t get away with his plans, and a father that traveled out-of-town and cannot speak directly to his son. And me….the mom that loves time with him, and only gets 4 days a month since the blackmail….. gets to spend no time with him.

Well…. I guess its time for a pizza!

One Response to I never should have gone shopping!

  1. What the hell? So, why can’t dad talk to his son…even if he is out of town? This is so not fair. I would insist on two weekends in a row for this!!! That will teach your son that he can’t get away with being sneaky!!!!!

Thank you!
