I hope all fathers had a great day.
I did not. I knew it would take all day to fix my sprinkler system. I move at the speed of a snail and bending is not my forte’ any longer. So, I had to be creative. I was not going to ask any of my family members to assist today…they should be with their families and enjoying one another. So, I got the garden sprinklers fixed. The valve was clean and working. I moved onto the front yard. I got the next set going and working, but when I went to the next one, I could hear water from somewhere away from the sprinklers. I followed that sound and found a break over by the valves. I turned the system off and went to the hardware store to get the parts needed. It took me two trips in and out to get everything I needed. And one stop at mom and dad’s to get the wrong glue. THAT glue blew up one of my parts. So, I won’t use that glue. Then I tried to fix the”T” that needed repairs. And I cut twice and it was still too short. A YUCK!!! hahahaha. So, after using all my parts I looked down and another section had broken off. I called my sister, she had a 1 inch pvc coupler. So, I could fix the first section. The second should have been bim bam boom glued. NOOOOO!!! It refused to glue. I cleaned it, I reprimed it and it just refused. So, I tried to run the part of the system without using that valve and 2 sections came on at one time.
I turned everything off and went to bed.
